This product was inspired when the pandemic was severe. My friends were all in fear of the fast-spreading virus. And through my research, I found there's medical equipment called POCT, which allows people to test whether they are infected without needing to leave home. One lab in China showed how the POCT test paper shows results in 15 minutes. My product is a design based on the POCT test paper. I designed a form that is comfortable for people to handle. Also, this equipment needs electric power. So, I prepared a power base that lets the POCT equipment stand on tables. And lastly, I chose plastic as its material because it has a lower cost and is easy to disinfect.
